Cardiovascular Research at St George's, University of London
Cardiovascular Research at St George's is primarily conducted within the Division of Cardiac and Vascular Science. The division is headed by Professor John Camm and divided into 4 primary centres - Cardiovascular Biology and Surgery; Cardiac Arrhythmias; Clinical Neuroscience; Preventative Cardiovascular Medicine - and a number of allied sections. In addition to the Division of CVS there are strong cardiovascular research interests within other divisons of St George's including Cardiovascular Epidemiology, Basic Medical Science, Analytical Biochemistry, and Biomics and Proteomics; as well as extensive collaboration with St George's Healthcare Trust via Academic Surgery and The Cardiothoracic Centre.
