CRG Symposium 2009

Welcome to the website of the St George's Cardiovascular Research Group. The 2009 annual symposium has now been held, entitled 'Cardiovascular Complications of Chronic Kidney Disease - A New Challenge'. Details of the poster prize winners and downloads of some of the speaker presentations are now available in the Symposium 2009 section of the website. Details of the 2010 symposium will be announced shortly.

2009-2010 Seminar Series

Details of the 2009-2010 seminar series are currently being finalised. Details of confirmed speakers are available in the Seminars section of the website, and additional speakers will be added as they are confirmed.

St George's CRG gets a new Chair

As of 30th November 2009, Professor Juan Carlos Kaski will be stepping down as chair of the CRG. The committee wish him well for his future research and clinical work and would like to thank him for all his efforts in chairing the CRG. The committee is delighted to announce that Dr Ayesha De Souza has been elected to the position of chair of the CRG from 1st December 2009. A profile of Dr De Souza and her work is available from the committee pages of the website.
